My favorite worn items to purchase from women are their worn shoes. Worn shoes all tell a story and have a history specific to the person who wore them. I am not buying just any shoe. I have to be drawn to the person or shoe first. I Never purchase worn panties. For worn items only worn fashion accessories that have made contact with a woman's feet such as shoes, boots, socks, and pantyhose. I would also purchase unique scent samples such as a pillowcase a woman slept on that has her scent or a hairbrush that has the scent of her hair on it. I have had several consultations with other experts from the USA and Canada. There are different ways we can keep our smells alive. I based mine on an emotional need for peace and calm. This is more about being tied to emotions.

A female Conservator from the USA mentioned this case study in a talk on private collections. She mentioned in her email: I think people laugh because it is not a common collection which is why it is so fascinating. Not many people have tried to save smells. I think in the end people got my message which was, everyone has their pa**ions and I was urging them to indulge those material pa**ions.

Conservator: And people kept telling him you know you can't preserve these odors indefinitely. That's just the nature of course materials. They're eventually going to fade. And what I told him was you have a lot of great information, do what makes sense for you and your budget and I also suggested contraptions that can just capture the scent. And the real question was how much is this smell of a strangers foot worth to you? So ultimately it seemed like having control over something ephemeral was clouding whatever joy he was receiving from the biological odors.

Her words: I thought this was really cool! I love how she said you were trying to capture something ephemeral. That honestly reminded me of some French poetry by Baudelaire. He writes about being enchanted by the scent of his lovers gorgeous black hair. There is something very beautiful about trying to hold onto a scent, to imagine the life of the woman who holds that smell, etc. I enjoy learning more about your quest to save the ephemeral. I think that endeavor of yours is beautiful and the commitment you have to it far exceeds that of anyone I've talked to!
