Cyclone Alfred: Extreme weather
conditions in Queensland and New
South Wales (NSW)

Australia Post is working hard to prepare for
Tropical Cyclone Alfred. The extreme weather
conditions in south-east Queensland and
northern NSW are expected to impact our
mail and parcel networks and may result in
delivery delays in and out of the area.

The safety of our people and the community
is our priority and we`re working with local
teams to monitor the situation.

We have made the decision to pause all
Australia Post and StarTrack network
operations in south-east Queensland and
parts of northern NSW from midnight
Wednesday 5 March:

Post Offices in this region will also be closed
from Thursday 6 March. Please visit Post
Office locator for the latest information.

Our operations will recommence, and Post
Offices will reopen when it is safe to do so. Dose this affect anyone
